Tower erection, painting and lighting; antenna, coax and waveguide assembly, installation, path alignment and sweep testing; tower modifications, repair and maintenance; inspection services for cellular, ESMR, microwave AM, FM, TV broadcast, CATV, radar, navigational aids and other special communications installations, in-house shop fabrication of tower component and other steel parts.

Maintenence/Inspection

We perform all kinds of tower maintenance including ground level as well as above ground tower inspections.  Our general tower safety inspection is a more than 120 point structural and safety list that follows the EIA / TIA - 222-G standard.  We also provide digital pictures. All of our inspectors are fully qualified and experienced tower hands. 

We have the ability to do punch list / audits on new tower installations.  

In addition to tower inspections, we can also give you a complete map of your tower including customer antennas, placement on-site and analyzed for future carriers by a registered structural engineer.  We'll include digital pictures and site drawings for your use.

As an addition to our general tower maintenance inspection, we can also check your tower for plumb and guy wire tensions.   We use the Dynamometer© HF/2 & HF/3 tensionometers.  These highly accurate instruments allow us to do a non-destructive measurement on your guy wires and make recommendations to you instantly!  In addition, we can re-tension the guys back to the manufacturers recommendations.

We can also perform routine maintenance on the compound, tower, and buildings.  We can check generators, fuel tanks and sterilize the compound to control vegetation.

Tower Lighting & Lighting System Troubleshooting

Our maintenance department also includes several experienced tower light troubleshooting technicians.  Our techs are Flash® certified, and work 7 days a week to provide the quickest turnaround time for open NOTAMs.  We stock parts from all of the major manufacturers like Honeywell® (H&P), EG&G®, TWR® and Flash Technology®, so return trips are kept to a minimum. 

Our certified lighting inspection and installation crews are experienced and knowledgeable in all types of tower lighting.  Regardless of age or manufacturer, our skilled technicians can troubleshoot and repair nearly any lighting system.

Our maintenance trucks are stocked with frequently used parts from every major manufacturer of lighting equipment.  We even carry parts from companies that don't exist anymore.  We also stock older systems in house, so we're likely to have that part you just can't find anywhere else.  Along with our quick response and friendly service staff, we're sure that once you give us a call, your problem is solved.

Our crews are instructed and certified by all the major lighting system manufacturers'.  This, along with our vast experience, ensures you that your new light system is installed correctly and the manufacturers' warranty is covered.

We recommend replacing incandescent tower lamps every 12 months.  We use the highest quality beacon and obstruction lamps made by Weatherex®.  All Weatherex lamps come with a 12 month parts warranty. 

Typically all strobe tubes should be replaced no later than 60 months of service.  Our maintenance trucks are stocked with all brands of strobe tubes like Honeywell, EG&G, TWR and Flash Technology, so we can get your site up and running in the shortest time.
